Third graders at the Brown School read Henry’s Freedom Box by Ellen Levine and then took a mini tour of the Underground Railroad via National Geographic’s website (www.nationalgeographic.com/railroad/j3.html). Students then highlighted the railroad’s route on a map of their own.

i think this project sound like its worth searching. this project is something interesting that might be useful.

I love all the stories about the underground railroad.The project sounded like fun,but I think it would have been funer if they had taken a field trip to one of the houses on the underground railroad
