I Have A Dream…
The first grade classes at the Brown School read about Martin Luther King Jr. and Harriet Tubman then they created their own “I Have A Dream” posters. They used pictures of clouds and cotton balls and wrote about their dreams for the future (with the help of Ms.S). First graders had all kinds of dreams, which included growing up to become police officers, electricians, hairdressers, teachers, singers and veterinarians.

i think getting a younger age of kids to know about Martin Luther King is a good idea. If they know more about these important things now theyll understand it better when they do more challenging things when they get older.

Learning about Martin Luther King’s speech is a great idea for younger kids to know about his dream and every color should be treated the same. His dream came true and I am glad that it did because brothers and brothers and sister and sisters would still be hating each other.My dream in the future is to bring the soldiers home and to go to a great college.

it’s cool that first graders are learning about Martin Luther King Jr. because they are learning more about there history and they are learning about there past and they will learn more through the ages.

My dream for the world is to make sure African-Americans dont get treated badly any more and treated like other people. I want to get innocent African-Americans out from jail for something the did not do.
